World & Level Design

Wizard's Home

This was an environment I made in early 2020 as a portfolio piece, using free assets from the Unity store. I wanted to create an interior location, since I had worked a decent amount with exteriors already. My goal was to create a wizard's house, full of magical artifacts and interesting glowing plants. I particularly enjoyed this project, because I got to work with a lot of clutter!

A particular thank you must also be said to Broken Vector, who made the free asset Ultimate Low Poly Dungeon kit on the unity store. About 90% of the
assets in this project came from this particular asset pack! (Link)

Sunset Caldera

This was a game made for Global Game Jam 2020. I worked with a team of four others, and my role was environment and level design, as well as creating the UI assets. Free assets from the Unity store were used, as well as models created by one of my teammates. My goal was to create a crater on an alien planet with three distinct areas - a mushroom forest, a rocky reservoir, and ancient ruins.

Mushroom Cave

This was my final project for my Fundamentals of Game Engines class, where we were instructed to create an environment. We used free assets from the Unity
store, and otherwise had creative freedom to demonstrate our mastery of terrains.
I was heavily inspired by Skyrim's Blackreach, a subterranean location full of glowing mushrooms. My goal was to create a similar setting, but with brighter
and more dynamic lighting.
